See the bigger picture.
Find the direction.

The most important opportunities rarely come with a map.

MS VECTOR is an independent strategy and market development advisory working across business, technology and international markets. We help organisations understand what is changing, identify where opportunities may lie, and turn strategic thinking into practical action.

A Wider Perspective

Markets do not move in isolation.

Opportunity emerges when different changes begin to connect.

We look beyond the immediate market to understand the wider context — then focus on where those changes can create meaningful value.

The objective is not complexity. It is clarity.

What We Do

From strategic question to practical action.

Our work often begins with a question rather than a predefined assignment. We do not stop at recommendations — we work alongside our clients from strategy through to implementation.

Where is the opportunity? What should we do next? Where else could this capability create value? Who needs to be involved?
01

Strategic Advisory

Finding the direction.

We work with businesses, institutions and organisations on strategic questions where the answer is not immediately apparent, helping clarify choices and identify practical directions for future development.

02

Market Development

Turning possibility into opportunity.

We investigate emerging needs, applications and market changes to understand where existing capabilities can create new value — and what would be required for that opportunity to become viable.

03

Partnerships & Implementation

Making the strategy work.

We identify and engage the businesses, technology providers, institutions, customers and other stakeholders needed to move an opportunity forward — and remain involved as strategy becomes implementation.

How We Work

Explore. Focus. Connect. Act.

We begin with the wider landscape, narrow the field towards the opportunities that matter, bring the right capabilities together, and turn direction into practical action.

01

EXPLORE

Look beyond the obvious.

02

FOCUS

Find the opportunities that matter.

03

CONNECT

Bring the right elements together.

Build meaningful partnerships.

04

ACT

Turn direction into progress.

Make it happen in the real world.

Technology & New Markets

When a capability needs a market.

A technically successful product is not necessarily a commercially successful one. We explore where technologies and specialist capabilities can create value beyond their established applications — and what markets, partnerships and ecosystems need to develop around them.

Digital Manufacturing

When a technology changes more than production.

Digital manufacturing can change not only how something is produced, but where and when it is produced, how products are customised, how supply chains operate and how producers connect with customers. Our long involvement in industrial inkjet provides a practical perspective on these wider possibilities.

International & Industry Strategy

When development requires more than exporting.

International competitiveness can depend on more than individual companies. Market knowledge, local partners, institutions, commercial structures and international networks all influence whether an opportunity can develop and endure.

Different markets. Different dynamics.

From established European markets to fast-growing India and the distinctive business environment of Japan, we work across markets where local knowledge, relationships and cultural understanding matter.

Experience

Experience that connects different worlds.

25+years across technology,
markets and international business

MS VECTOR brings together more than 25 years of experience across technology, manufacturing, marketing and international business.

Marketing Standard Limited has operated in the UK since 2004 with an international outlook from the beginning, working between markets and helping organisations develop opportunities across borders.

Our experience has included international investment and market development, strategic advisory, technology commercialisation and the development of international business partnerships.

Over the past fifteen years, a substantial part of our work has been in industrial inkjet and digital manufacturing, working closely with technology developers, manufacturers, equipment companies, integrators and end users.

How does an emerging technology actually become a market?

It takes more than technical capability. Applications need to be identified. Value needs to be demonstrated. Technologies need to work together. Partners need to be found. Commercial structures need to develop. Customers need reasons to change. Sometimes the surrounding ecosystem itself has to evolve.

Today, MS VECTOR applies this accumulated experience more broadly — bringing together strategic thinking, international market experience and practical commercial development to address new challenges and opportunities.

What are you trying to make possible?

Some assignments begin with a clearly defined objective.

Others begin with a technology, an idea, a changing market, an emerging need — or simply a question about what should come next.

We are interested in both.

If you are exploring a new direction, developing a market, reconsidering a strategy or bringing different organisations together around an opportunity, we would be pleased to talk.
